Gold Crest Homes has a gallery of designs ranging from 1,645 SF of living area (2,409 total under roof) to 3,418 SF of living area (5,075 total). Yet we rarely build one of our stock plans. Sometimes the homes we build are a modification of our designs, but almost as frequently people simply bring us their dreams which we translate into blueprints. We have a reputation for exceeding expectations! Essentially we have two basic design groups. Our Prestige line of living room/family room designs - including the Empress, Excalibur, Elite and Excelsior plans featured on our site - have been exceptionally popular over the years. With minor "tweaking" to fit the lifestyle of the homeowners who have selected one of these plans, the Prestige line accounts for more than 40% of the homes we have constructed. In total, the Prestige line consists of 12 designs, ranging from the Prestige Petite at 2,051 SF of living area (2,823 total) to our Showcase Design, The Excelsior. The great room series of homes - Our Sterling Line - consists of 11 styles. This line of homes begins with the Crystal Petite at 1,645 SF of living, and includes the sprawling Arlington with 5,075 total SF. The most popular plans in this group are featured here, and include the Berkley, Villager, Sterling and Windsor. Because we have earned an outstanding reputation as a custom builder with the skills required to design and construct intricate plans, our portfolio includes homes of all sizes, styles, and degrees of complexity. We are experts in waterfront, wetlands, uplands, flood and high velocity wind zone construction. We've built two-story homes, stilt homes - we've even built a castle!
