I wanted to take a few minutes to send a thank you note to the GoldCrest staff that helped make our dream home a reality. We started working with GoldCrest back in 2005 when we first purchased the land in Pine Ridge. Prior to choosing GoldCrest, we looked at a number of builders and toured their model homes. We found that the GoldCrest construction and overall materials were generally a higher quality than the competition (i.e. double-pane windows is just one example). Over the next year or so we worked with the architect to help with the design of our custom home. Although we knew what we wanted in our new home, we had difficulty making everything fit. With input from members of the GoldCrest staff and a few meetings later, our dream home was getting closer to being a reality. The construction of our home started in 2006, and was completed in 2007 (on time). We could not be happier with the outcome of our new home! GoldCrest uses some exceptionally qualified tradesmen, and our custom kitchen is proof of that. GoldCrest also has some exceptionally qualified personnel that we worked with on a regular basis. During the build cycle, we were living in Massachusetts, so we depended very heavily on the GoldCrest Contract Manager and the Construction Manager (Joe) to keep us informed as to what was going on. Their communication and personalities are very well suited for their positions and knowing that we had them as our "watch dogs" to ensure that everything was going according to plan, allowed us to sleep easy at night. Of course, during any large construction project there will always be problems or issues that need to be addressed. But getting those issues resolved is the important factor. When issues were identified, we worked with Joe to come up with the corrections and solutions. It was comforting to work with professionals who not only understood how to fix the problems, but also understood the value of keeping the customer's requirements a priority and maintaining a good customer relationship. We are very pleased with our experiences with GoldCrest and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a home construction company that has well qualified staff, tradesman and excellent construction standards.
